We are thrilled to introduce the StartHer Scholarship, a new initiative designed to empower and support aspiring women entrepreneurs in their journey toward success. This scholarship is dedicated to providing valuable resources and opportunities to help launch and grow promising business ideas.

About the StartHer Scholarship

The StartHer Scholarship offers one exceptional recipient the following:

  • One-Year Hot Desk Membership: A fully-supported one-year hot desk membership at Gleeson Collective, providing the winner with a vibrant workspace and access to essential business resources.

  • Networking Opportunities: Access to a community of like-minded entrepreneurs, potential collaborators, and industry leaders through Gleeson Collective.

  • Mentoring: Kelly Kelly, Director & Principal Solicitor at Kelly Kelly Legal along with Tim Davies, Clare Media and Cassie Fuller, Co-Owner of Gleeson Collective are offering an entire year of mentoring as required. All three mentors have industry experience in their particular fields (Law, Business, Media and Marketing) and have started businesses from the ground up. A great resource to tap into!

  • The scholarship includes a one-year hot desk membership at the Gleeson Collective, Clare. This will be your own permanent desk in the shared open space area and includes everything needed to kick start your business! The scholarship will run from 1st February 2025 to 31st January 2026. The scholarship also includes the opportunity to undertake mentoring from Kelly Kelly, Tim Davies and Cassie Fuller during the year on either a formal or casual basis on a range of topics from Law, Business, Marketing, Media and Website Creation.

  • Applicants must be female and reside in the Mid North or Clare Valley regions.

    • Applicants must be 18 years or older at the time of application.

    • The scholarship is open to individuals who currently own a small business and live in the Mid North & Clare Valley Region or are currently demonstrating steps to have their business operational in 2025.

    • The business structure must be either sole trader, partnership or a company with no more than 2 directors.

    • Be in any field/industry

    • Must carry out business activities that are suitable in a Co-Working space. Noting that Gleeson Collective is an office space and the scholarship is for a permanent desk in the open plan shared space within the building.

    • Employees of Kelly Kelly Legal, the Gleeson Collective, and their immediate families are not eligible to apply.

    • Applications open 1st October 2024 and close at 11:59pm Friday 30th November 2024.

    • Winner will be announced before 31st December 2024.
